The end of the semester is coming up, and maybe your report card didn’t turn out as perfect as you wished. All those plans on staying organized and doing your homework might have been lost along the way, and replaced by sleeping, playing games and hanging out with friends. Just making a wild guess here – but most of us would probably prefer grades consisting of letters in the way beginning of the alphabet. But don’t fret – you still have 6 months of school left (yayy!), and plenty of time to fix your mistakes. Sometimes actually doing your work can seem a bit weary, so we’ve got the inside information on the snacks, food, jokes, and attitudes that will charm your teacher into giving you the “A” you know you deserve.
For Mr. Purpura and Mr Shulist, coffee, nuts and a nice poop joke would definitely lead to success, while Mr. Vafai would enjoy sitting down and chatting about the funny things that Sheldon and Leonard talk about in Big Bang Theory. If you forget to do your homework, a funny text message will probably brighten Ms. Fanaian’s mood, while sarcasm cracks Ms Rust up, and Mr Olson enjoys funny stories.
Most of them seem to enjoy getting up in the morning (must be a teacher thing), and curious students. But although bribery seems like the simplest way to getting an “A”, we all know that the real way to earning your teacher’s respect is studying. And asking questions. And putting all your energy into completing assignments. And being respectful. Sounds boring – I know, but just like Mr. Shulist said, it may actually turn out interesting once you look into it. So good luck to you all and lets all wish for that A!
